Essays And Research on Indigenous Mexico By John P. Schmal

Somos Primos is a great resource for historians and genealogists alike, it contains allot of awesome information but you have to dig for it. Recently while browsing SomosPrimos I came across a page being hosted by them, it is a page that contains information about the native american population in Mexico.

It contains the essays that John P. Schmal has written about the indigenous peoples of Mexico. I share this with you since I know that many of us that have roots in Mexico have indigenous roots. I myself, based on my DNA research, am 25%. Unfortunately I have not been able to trace these ancestors further due to the lack of documents on them. What we can do is to read more about the empires and or tribes that they might have had come from to learn more about their cultures and this is a great resource to get more information about this.
